Trinity Fellowship International Church, 181 Kings Highway, will present minister in training Lester Truman Johnson who will give his initial sermon on Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. The Men on a Mission will hold their breakfast meeting on Oct. 13 at 7 a.m. fish and grits will be served. Aquia Episcopal Church, 2938 Jefferson Davis Highway, will hold the 56th annual Fall Festival on Oct. 6, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., with handmade crafts, home-baked goods, books, plants, flea market and more. Proceeds will support community outreach programs. 540/659-4007.

Ramoth Baptist Church, 478 Ramoth Church Road, will celebrate their 146th Homecoming on Oct. 7, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. "No Other Name" will provide music. 540/659-4588.

Berea Baptist Church, 28 Fleet Road will begin a new children's church program for children ages 3 through fifth grade on Oct. 7. The children will meet every Sunday during the 11 a.m. service. 540/752-4406.


Macedonia Baptist Church, 7187 Macedonia Road in Woodford, will hold the 2012 Donnell Callis Scholarship Youth Explosion on Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. Various groups will render the music. 804/633-6035.

First Baptist Church, 9262 Guinea Station Road in Woodford will celebrate the 27th anniversary of the pastor, the Rev. Carl Bentley, during the 11 a.m. worship service on Oct. 7. Guests for the day will be the Rev. Charles Baugham and congregation from St. James Baptist Church in Milford. Lunch will be served following the worship service. The Women's Ministry will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. Guest speaker will be Minister Ritta Armstead, associate minister at Shiloh New Site Baptist Church in Fredericksburg. Dinner will follow the worship service.

Third Mount Zion Baptist Church, 9132 Fredericksburg Turnpike in Woodford, will hold an anniversary celebration on Oct. 6 at 5 p.m., with Minister Walter L. Baker Jr. as master of ceremonies. The event will feature the Gospel Tones, the Barbour Travelers, the New Sing Disciples, Faithful Connection, the Serenity Gospel Singers, Anointed Voices and Men of Zion. 804/214-1472.
