Was Jesus married?

Recent media reports say that certain archaeological finds indicate that Jesus may have been married. Regardless of what anyone else says, we beg to differ! God's Word, the one and only source of absolute truth, says in Revelation 21:9 (NLT):

The ensuing Scriptures refer to Jerusalem, the holy city, the redeemed church. She is the Bride of Christ! Period!

Jesus came to do His Father's will and that was to take the sins of mankind upon Himself and die in our place that we could be free. His purpose in coming as God/man was for eternal gain, not temporal gratification.
