VDOT Hot Spots
(Update) Thursday, 10 p.m.-5 a.m.; crews will continue milling and paving the ramps at Exit 130 (State Route 3/Fredericksburg). The ramps from I-95 southbound to State Route 3 westbound and ramps from State Route 3 westbound to I-95 southbound will be closed to traffic. Motorists should use Exit 133 (U.S. 17/Falmouth) to U.S. 1 southbound back to State Route 3 westbound as alternate route.
State Route 208 Bridge over Lake Anna
(New) Beginning Tuesday, the concrete barrier and orange barrels will be removed from the bridge and all travel lanes will be open. The temporary signals will also be removed on the State Route 208 bridge over Lake Anna. Motorists should expect periodic lane closures during the daylight hours as crews work to complete miscellaneous items that are required to finish the bridge deck replacement project.
KING GEORGE COUNTY
State Route 218
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; crews will continue milling, paving and replacing guardrail on State Route 218 between State Route 694 and State Route 609. Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.
Harry Nice Bridge
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the Harry Nice Bridge. the Maryland Transportation Authority will be conducting routine bridge inspections. The inspections are expected to continue through November. Expect delays. For real time traffic information visit md511.org.
(Update) Sunday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 a.m.; crews will continue paving on I-95 northbound between mile marker 101 located north of the Hanover County line and mile marker 106.9, located just north of Exit 104 (State Roue 207/Carmel Church). This is a day and nighttime operation. One lane will be closed in the work zone between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Two lanes will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. each day. Expect delays.
(Update) North/South at Exit 104, Monday and Tuesday, 7 p.m.-5 a.m.; crews will be striping the pavement and placing stone on the shoulder on the northbound and southbound side of I-95 at Exit 104 (State Route 207/Carmel Church). One lane will be closed in the mobile work zone.UNDER CONSTRUCTION
