Darryl Lamont Stitt, 50, of Spotsylvania County passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Stitt; sons Lamont and Darrick Stitt; daughters Maria Bailey and Keya Gibbons; mother Barbara Stitt; brothers Donald Stitt and Dennis Stitt and wife Hope; and grandchildren Nazae, Matique, Edward, Ariana and Styles.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A memorial service will be held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
