The eighth annual Wings and Wheels Festival touches down at the Stafford Regional Airport from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Radio Active RC Demonstration highlights the festival along with a car and motorcycle show, and free airplane rides for children courtesy of the EAA Young Eagles program.

Experimental military, civilian and vintage aircraft will also be on display.

Hosted by the Stafford Rotary Club, this family-friendly fundraiser will benefit several community organizations and programs--including the Dictionary Project, which gives free dictionaries to third-graders--and provide scholarships to graduating Stafford students.

Admission is free. Early risers can attend a pancake breakfast at 7 p.m., hosted by the Chapter 1099 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
