SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Walnut Hills United Pentecostal Church, 11506 Brian Drive, will hold a fall festival on Oct. 27, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., featuring an obstacle course, arts and crafts sale, food, games, Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue, Christian concerts all day and more. All fun and games are free.

Bethlehem Baptist Church will celebrate Deacons, Deaconess and Trustees Day on Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Zolly Hawthorne, associate minister of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Stafford, will be guest speaker, accompanied by the Mount Olive Men's Chorus. Dinner will be served following the morning service.

Living Word Lutheran Church and Vine Covenant Ministries, 2601 Wheatland Woods Drive, are collecting donations and seeking volunteers for the second annual Christmas Eve Outreach Event for the area's homeless schoolchildren, to be held at Golden Skateworld. For details call 540/840-6591.

Little Mine Road Baptist Church, 7225 Lane's Corner Road, will celebrate its 153rd anniversary on Oct. 21. The Rev. Carson M. FREDERICKSBURG

Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site), 525 Princess Anne St., will hold Homecoming on Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m., and Fall Revival Oct. 22-24 at 7:30 p.m., featuring the Rev. Darrell White, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Alexandria and president of the Baptist General Convention as guest speaker. 540/371-1153.

The Intermediate Choir of Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site), 801 Sophia St., will hold a "Pink Bake Sale" during and after the 11 a.m. worship service on Oct. 21. A portion of the proceeds of "Indulge for the Cure" will be donated to breast cancer research.

The church will holds it fall yard and bake sale Oct 26-27, rain or shine.
