Laura M. Talbert

Laura Margaret Talbert, 67, of Fredericksburg passed away peacefully with her family by her side at home on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.

Mrs. Talbert loved gardening, fishing, animals and cooking. She loved doing things for her family and friends. Mrs. Talbert retired after 30 years as a bakery manager for Giant.

Survivors include her son, Arsane Serafin Jr.; daughters Eileen Serafin and Deborah Jackson; brother John Mc Kee; sisters Maureen Lunn, Barbara Rhodes and Lana Norton; grandchildren David M. Jackson Jr., Samantha K. Serafin, Dwayne R. Jackson, Kate E. Jonson and Ian T. Jonson; and one great-grandson, Chase B. Jackson.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
