Verna Mae Greene, 74, of King and Queen Court House departed this life, Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Memorial Regional Hospital, Mechanicsville.

She is survived by three daughters, Olivia R. Greene of Richmond, Deborah Waller of King William, and Sandra G. Davis of King and Queen Court House; two sons, Perry O. Greene of Williamsburg and Lannie A. Greene Jr. of Newport News; one brother, James A. Pollard; two sisters, Joan Johnson of Maryland and Teresa Perkins of Newtown.

Visitation will be private. A service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at First Mount Olive Baptist Church, Newtown, with the Rev. Drucilla Tate, officiating and the Rev. Rawles as eulogist. Interment in the church cemetery.
