Master Gardener Fourth Tuesday Series meets Oct. 23, 7 p.m., at Salem Library, 2607 Salem Church Road, Spotsylvania. Gwen Pote, master naturalist, will talk about creating a backyard environment that attracts wildlife and limits the uninvited.

The Woman's Club of King George meets Oct. 25, 7 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Dr. Sam Jamison, physical therapist, will speak about women's health. 540/775-7878.
