Like your friends; pick president on his record

Take personality out of your election choices. I'm so tired of hearing, "He's a nice guy," "he's trying," "to disagree with him is racist," or, "he's rich and not to be trusted." "He doesn't make me feel warm and cuddly" is my favorite.

It sounds like a gaggle of 10-year-olds, and, if the speaker is over age 18, then idiocy is the only thing that makes sense. What do these "reasons" have to do with which candidate will be the best leader of the free world for the next four years? Which man do you want in possibly the most dangerous elected position in the world--the one who makes excuses or the one who has a history of getting the job done?

What we have is a contest for the hearts and minds of Americans. If you can, pretend that neither candidate is likable. On the one hand, you will vote for the man who represents personal responsibility, the free enterprise system, limited government, and a strong America. Or you will vote for a continued slide into bankruptcy, dependence, national disgrace, and a more dangerous world.

Isn't that all you need to know?
