Carole A. Zovak

Carole Ann Zovak, 68, of Fredericksburg died peacefully at her home on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012. She was surrounded by her four loving children.

Carole was born in Pennsylvania. She worked for more than 20 years as an administrative assistant with the Department of Defense. She retired in 2009. Carole was well-respected and loved by her bosses, colleagues and all those with whom she came in contact.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Link; and her brothers Paul, Gene and Edward.

Carole is survived by her daughter, Susan Buswell and her husband, Scott, of Ellicott City, Md.; her sons, Joseph Zovak of Fredericksburg, Jeffrey Zovak of Haymarket and Christopher Zovak and his wife, Melissa, of Fredericksburg; her grandsons, Mason and Ethan Buswell and Aidan Zovak, all of whom she greatly adored; brothers Rege, Melvin, Blaine, Mark, Brian and Duane Link; and numerous family members and dear friends.

Carole's greatest love was her family, and she lived her life for them. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, godmother and, most of all, a friend. She will be greatly missed, but will forever live on in our hearts.

A Mass will be celebrated to honor her life at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Triangle. A reception will follow at noon at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, Dale City.
