Lucien "Happy" Lane, 88, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Dumfries, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at the Crossings.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Penland and Beverly Owens; five grandchildren, Aaron and Damon Smuzynski and Ryan, Shannon and Cliff Owens; and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother and sister who reside in Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 26, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 161 Embrey Mill Road, Stafford. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery.
