For our government to operate as our Founding Fathers intended, we citizens must become informed about the issues and the candidates and exercise our right to vote. It is crucial that we elect honest, hardworking, responsive representatives who are above reproach and committed to public service.

Rob Wittman, our current representative in the 1st Congressional District, reflects those virtues and is one of the finest individuals I have ever known. Rob has been a proven public servant in local, state, and federal government and is committed to his community and country.

Rob is a strong supporter of our military, a conscious steward of our environment, a fiscal conservative, and compassionate to those unable to care for themselves. His beliefs are rooted in the idea that everyone should be given an opportunity to make a better life, but that each individual has the responsibility for his actions and that hard work makes its own rewards.

Most importantly, in every decision that Rob makes his main goal is to do what is right. The residents of the 1st District are fortunate to have such a selfless and committed individual serving as our voice in Washington.

I ask you to please get out and vote on Nov. 6 and re-elect Rob Wittman as our representative in the 1st Congressional District.
