Should kids be allowed to vote? Why or why not?

Yes, I think kids should be allowed to vote. First, kids must know about the candidates. Second, they must be educated and able to read. Finally, they can pick a candidate they think can do the best job.

Children should not be allowed to vote for a president. Children aren't old enough to vote. Some children don't know how to read and write, and they might make a mistake. Children don't know about presidents and the rules they have to follow. Anyone over 18 years old is allowed to vote because they have lived longer. I am glad I do not have to vote, but someday I will vote.

Kids should be allowed to vote because they want to learn about presidential stuff. And they also want to learn how to vote.

Kids cannot vote because we are small and we might be silly. We might say, "I vote for him," and then say "No, I vote for her," and then say "I vote for both of them." That might happen.

I think kids can vote on certain things like playing a game, or if they want to have pizza for dinner, but not on things that affect the world like voting for the president of the United States. I think children should not vote because they are too young. Children probably will not understand the entire problem because it may be too complicated. I believe we should leave the big complicated problems to the adults and the children can handle the simple things that will not harm or disturb.

I don't think kids should be allowed to vote because they vote for the thing they want, and they aren't very smart about it.

I think that kids should be allowed to vote. The reason why is because when they say everyone is equal and everyone can vote, what about us kids? We want to help choose our leader. That's why I think kids should vote.
