COUNCIL TO LOOK AT ELECTION DATE

The Culpeper Town Council will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the third-floor conference room of the Municipal Building, 400 S. Main St. Among items to be discussed are the possible changing of the town's election date and consideration of a roundabout at Fairview Cemetery on U.S. 522.

FALL HILL MEETING POSTPONED

Because of Sandy, today's planned public hearing on the Fall Hill Avenue widening project has been postponed. A new date hasn't been set. The meeting will include info on the project designs and residents will be able to give comments on it. The project, which could begin in 2015 and take two years to finish, is broken into phases.
