Nancy Lancaster Yerdon, 91, of Wicomico Church died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. Richard and Alma Warden Lancaster. Mrs. Yerdon had been a devoted member of Wicomico Parish Church since 1972. She was a loving wife and mother, an avid gardener and she cherished her home "Bayberry." A gifted pianist and vocalist, she studied at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 21 years, the Rev. Frank H. Moss Jr., and her second husband of 34 years, Gerald G. Yerdon. Surviving are four children, Nancy McDaniel of Ridgefield, Conn., the Rev. Frank H. Moss III and wife Betsy of Portland, Ore., Hunter Moss of Staunton and Lang Moss and wife Stephanie of Wardensville, W.Va.; three stepchildren, Katy S. O'Hara of Sacramento, Calif., Peter Yerdon of Cape Coral, Fla., and Steven Yerdon of Chula Vista, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Wicomico Parish Church, Wicomico.
