Otis A. Duncan

Otis Ardell Duncan, 81, of Spotsylvania County passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Anne Duncan; sons Randy Duncan of Elizabeth City, N.C., Michael Duncan of Chester and Otis Duncan Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters Connie Davis of Virginia Beach and Robin Linton of Gates County, N.C.; stepchildren Bryan Jones, Pandora Burge and Tammy Munsee, all of Spotsylvania; sister Glenda White; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother Lindsey Duncan and sister Lorraine Peffer.

A service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at a later date in Elizabeth City, N.C.
