The following students were selected as the King George High School Students of the Month for October.

Samantha Hayward was nominated by Ms. Carpenter, who writes " Samantha is not only an exceptional student, but also an exceptional young woman. She is wise, compassionate and thoughtful. She always goes above and beyond her assignments and constantly helps her peers to better understand class material. Her contributions to class discussions are unmatched, she brings great depth through thoughtful questions. Samantha is a student who sees the need for education and strives to do her best in order to be a more successful member of society. Outside of school, she works with her family to promote a healthy environment and often helps those who are less fortunate than herself. I consider it a privilege to be able to teach Miss Hayward, as she is truly a dynamic individual."

;">Theresa Hardman was nominated by Mrs. Hummer, who writes "Theresa Hardman is a student who enjoys a challenge. Her positive attitude and openness to learn help drive her to success. Theresa's interaction with her peers allows those around her, as well as herself, to do the best they can in class."
