Work on Brooke VRE lot almost finished
The Virginia Railway Express parking expansion project at the Brooke Road VRE lot in Stafford is nearing completion.
Crews will be milling and paving the current lot this weekend, VRE officials said in the commuter rail system's monthly online forum Wednesday.
The $2.2 million project will add 234 spaces to the lot, which is on track to open in early December.
