Shots fired near eatery; no injuries
The firing of four or five shots shortly after midnight Saturday attracted the attention of an officer patrolling in the area of the Aladin Restaurant & Cafe in Greenbrier Shopping Center.
Security guards pointed out two vehicles speeding from the scene. They said they believed the occupants were involved, according
Officers stopped one of the possible suspect vehicles on Interstate 95, she said. The occupants were checked and identified, and then released without charges.
Police recovered shell casings from the parking lot in front of Aladin, Bledsoe said.
"Nobody was injured in this incident," she said. "The investigation is ongoing."
