Judith DeWoody Heberlein, 71, of Fredericksburg, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg. She enjoyed volunteering at the church and was an avid gardener. She thoroughly enjoyed spending her summers with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph Heberlein and his wife, Beverly, and Johnathan Heberlein and his wife, Elizabeth; her daughter, Rebecca Hoskins, and her husband, Greg; her sister, Genie Emery, and her husband, Jack; her grandchildren, Wayne and his wife, Cait, Jessica, Kyle, Sarah and Katherine; her great-grandchild, Peyton; and her special sister-in-law, Elsie Spencer and her husband, Dale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Heberlein.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at The Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Box 932915, Atlanta, Ga. 31193-2915.
