As I longtime fan of "Jeopardy!" I was appalled and sickened by its use of the death of our ambassador to Libya as a topic of one of its trivia questions on Nov. 7. The deaths of our Libyan ambassador and three other brave Americans are not trivial nor an appropriate topic for a game show, even one as purportedly erudite as "Jeopardy!"
"Jeopardy!" showed callous disregard for not only the death of these Americans and their families but displayed a political bent not previously obvious in its programming. It is doubtful that they would have trivialized the Benghazi tragedy just two days previously--before the presidential election.
I guess I will have to stick with crossword puzzles, anagrams, and cards games for entertainment in the future.
