J.W. Turner, 83, formerly of the Fredericksburg area, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

He was the loving husband of Sharon Miller and the late Edna Jane Turner; dear father of Janie Turner, Shirley Carney and the late Jay Wayne Turner and Robert "Bob" Turner; dear father-in-law of Kim Turner; beloved grandfather and great-grandfather; brother of Dolly Rebecca Hooper; and uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves, Mo. Interment will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery in St. Louis.
