Macedonia Baptist Church, 7187 Macedonia Road in Woodford, will hold the 2012 Women's Annual Conference on Nov. 17. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Guest speaker is the Rev. Carla Minor of Oxford Mount Zion Baptist Church. The Women's Conference Going Forward Service will continue
First Baptist Church, 9262 Guinea Station Road in Woodford, will hold a pre-Thanksgiving service Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. Guest will be the Rev. Kenneth Grasty and Zion Grove Baptist Church in Woodford.
Ebenezer Baptist Church in Ruther Glen will observe the 140th church anniversary Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Arthur Werts of Second Baptist Church and congregation will be guests.KING GEORGE
Salem Baptist Church will hold its Annual Men's Day service on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. The pastor, the Rev. Leonard Bland, will preach at the 11:30 a.m. service. Dinner will be served following the morning service. The guest speaker for the evening service will be the Rev. Ernest Webster of Hartswell Baptist Church in Lancaster accompanied by his singing group and congregation.
St. Stephen's Baptist Church, 9142 Comorn Road, will hold the annual Thanksgiving service Nov. 18. Morning worship will start at noon and lunch will follow.
Antioch Baptist Church, 11102 James Madison Parkway, will hold the Worship on Wednesday (WOW) service Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Irving L. Woolfolk of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Supply will be guest preacher.FAUQUIER COUNTY
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 8695 Old Dumfries Road in Catlett, will hold a holiday fair Nov. 17, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., with a children's corner, sweet shop, vendors and lunch. On Nov. 21, the church will hold the annual Thanksgiving service at 7:30 p.m.
Silver Hill Baptist Church, 13323 Silver Hill Road, Bealeton, will host a Thanksgiving Breakfast and Worship service Nov. 22. The Rev. Rollie Lomax, assistant pastor at St. John Baptist Church in Hurleytown will be the guest preacher. The Musical Blends will provide the Songs of Zion. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and Benediction will be at 10 a.m.
