SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Tabernacle Methodist Church, 7310 Old Plank Road, will host the 58th annual Thanksgiving Dinner and Auction on Nov. 22 in the multi-purpose room. The dinner, 5-6:30 p.m., will feature homemade sausage and home-cured ham biscuits, potato salad, coleslaw, homemade pie and drinks. The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m., with sausage, hams, scrapple, vegetables, breads, cakes, candy and more. 540/786-6162.

Bethlehem Baptist Church will hold its pre-Thanksgiving service on Nov. 21, with praise and worship at 7:30 p.m. and the service at 8 p.m. The Rev. Carroll Jackson and Macedonia Baptist Church in Woodford will be guests.

Beulah Baptist Church, 4216 Arcadia Road, will hold its Annual Missionary Day on Nov. 18 at the 11 a.m. service. The Rev. Rhetta Brown of Arm of the Lord Ministries will be guest speaker.

Sylvannah Baptist Church, 8400 Courthouse Road will celebrate the 145th church anniversary at the 11 a.m. worship service on Nov. 18, with the pastor, Dennis Woodard, delivering the message. The pastor's 33rd anniversary will be celebrated at the 3 p.m. service with Bishop Marvin Mason of Manna Christian Fellowship in Richmond as guest preacher. New Destiny Baptist Church, 11903 Bowman Drive, will hold Family and Friends Day on Nov. 18, with a ministry fair at 9 a.m., followed by worship at 10 a.m. The Rev. Morris Oliver and Shiloh Baptist Church Old Site will be present at 3 p.m. for the evening service.

St. Jude Catholic Church, 10725 Courthouse Road, will hold a Christian Music Cafe on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., featuring an open-mic format to share many styles of Christian music. FREDERICKSBURG

Trinity Episcopal Church, at the corner of College Avenue and William Street, will hold its third Saturday of the month Special Family Service For All God's Children on Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. It is a service designed to appeal to children and youth of any age, and especially appropriate for children with autism, PDD-NOS, ADHD, ADD, Down syndrome or other development and physical challenges. 540/373-2996; trinity-fred ericksburg.org.

First Christian Church, 1501 Washington Ave., will celebrate Thanksgiving Sunday on Nov. 18 with a single traditional 11 a.m. worship service, following the 10 a.m. all- ages Sunday school. Mount Tabor Baptist Church, 21795 Mattaponi Trail in Milford, will hold the annual Pre-Thanksgiving worship service Nov. 18 at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Harry Carter Jr. and Mount Oni Baptist Church as guests.

Macedonia Baptist Church, 7187 Macedonia Road in Woodford, will hold the 2012 Women's Annual Conference on Nov. 17. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Guest speaker is the Rev. KING GEORGE

Salem Baptist Church will hold its Annual Men's Day service on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. The pastor, the Rev. Leonard Bland, will preach at the 11:30 a.m. service. Dinner will be served following the morning service. The guest speaker for the evening service will be the Rev. Ernest Webster of Hartswell Baptist Church in Lancaster accompanied by his singing group and congregation.

St. Stephen's Baptist Church, 9142 Comorn Road, will hold the annual Thanksgiving service Nov. 18. Morning worship will start at noon and lunch will follow.

Antioch Baptist Church, 11102 James Madison Parkway, will hold the Worship on Wednesday (WOW) service Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Irving L. Woolfolk of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Supply will be guest preacher.

FAUQUIER COUNTY

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 8695 Old Dumfries Road in Catlett, will hold a holiday fair Nov. 17, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., with a children's corner, sweet shop, vendors and lunch. On Nov. 21, the church will hold the annual Thanksgiving service at 7:30 p.m.

Silver Hill Baptist Church, 13323 Silver Hill Road, Bealeton, will host a Thanksgiving Breakfast and Worship service Nov. 22. The Rev. Rollie Lomax, assistant pastor at St. John Baptist Church in Hurleytown will be the guest preacher. The Musical Blends will provide the Songs of Zion. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and Benediction will be at 10 a.m.

WESTMORELAND COUNTY

St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 203 Dennison St., in Colonial Beach, will continue a a series of storytelling forums at 9:15 a.m. on Nov. 18. GOSPEL SINGS/CONCERTS

Round Oak Baptist Church, 15025 Pepmeier Hill Road in Corbin will hold a gospel sing Nov. 18 at 6 p.m., with the Penny Family from Sparta and The Finney's from Mechanicsville. St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 5486 St. Paul's Road, State Route 206 in Owens, will present the Autumn Masterworks Concert, "Evening of Advent and Christmas Music," including the "Magnificat" by Sir Charles Villiers Sanford and several carols accompanied by pipe, organ, piano and harp on Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free; a free will offering will be taken.

MISCELLANEOUS
