Lucy Estelle Tignor, 88, of Bowling Green died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, David Carter and his wife, Beth, of Milford and Charles A. Carter and his wife, Sharon, of Madison; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Carter.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with the Rev. Kevin James officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hustle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
