Shearon Harris "Junior" Jett Jr., 56, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Spotsylvania County, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Jett owned Junior Jett Ceramic Tile. He enjoyed hunting and drag racing.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Tyonnia Wine Jett; sons Brandon James Jett and wife Amber of Rockton, Ill., and Justin Harris Jett of Blacksburg; brother Barry Jett and wife Christalyn; and sister Karen Dunavant and husband Randy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shearon H. Jett Sr. and Phyllis Quarles Jett.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
