Adele Orndorff, 82, of Spotsylvania County passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at her home.

She was a member of Sydenstricker United Methodist Church.

Adele is survived by her daughter, Genelle Biggar and her husband, Scott, of Fredericksburg; her son, Peter James Orndorff and his wife, Martha, of Woodbridge; a brother-in-law, Lamont Orndorff and his wife, Ann, of Front Royal; four grandchildren, Jacob, David, Jennifer and John; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Orndorff.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Sydenstricker United Methodist Church, 8508 Hooes Road, Springfield, with the Rev. Jim Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Adele's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to CC Homecare Hospice, 4815 Carr Drive, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
