There are so many problems with the current plan
The county owns land that was purchased for a high school on Clift Farm Road. The county needs a career and technical center. A feasibility study completed in 2009 stated that Stafford High should be relocated to the Clift Farm site, and the existing high school should be renovated to house the overdue CTE center.
Additionally, existing ball fields could be used for much needed parks-and-rec space. This sounds like a good plan to me. The problem with our officials is that instead of finding ways to build and fund this concept, they would rather say that we can't.
