Annabelle Scheibner

Annabelle Harriet Scheibner, 87, of Colonial Beach passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at home.

Annabelle was born in Battle Creek, Mich., to Harold and Lavera Coville of Vicksburg, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Luvena Ross.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Alfred, of Colonial Beach; daughters Ingrid (Steven Kesterson) of Colonial Beach and Belle Scheibner (Samir Wahab) of Germantown, Md.; brothers Lee "Sonny" and wife Lori Coville and Harold "Barney" and wife Dolores Coville, all of Vicksburg, Mich., and Wendell and wife Linda Coville of Scotts, Mich.; grandson Eric Wahab of Germantown, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.

Annabelle was past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, worthy advisor of Jobs Daughters, director for the Rainbow Girls and a member of the Friendship Club of Colonial Beach.

She also had been a nurse in Burns and Cheyenne, Wyo. She loved and was very good with ceramics before becoming blind.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at Langeland Funeral Home in Climax, Mich. Gregory Palmer of Allentown, Pa., will give the eulogy.

Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery in Climax, Mich.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, Va. 22407.
