Kenneth Rainey, 71, of Stafford County passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Chris; son Donnie and his girlfriend, Deb; daughter Cheryl and her husband, Danny; grandkids Jacob, Aaron, Serena and Samantha; brothers Archie, Martin, Walter and Stanley; sisters Betty, Edna and Geneva; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He had retired from VDOT after 38 years.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Va. 22556. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Asbury Methodist Church, 14113 Fleetwood Drive, Nokesville, Va. 20181. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Center of Lake Manassas, 7901 Lake Manassas Drive, Gainesville, Va. 20156.
