Richard Dandridge, 71, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Woodmont Nursing Home.
He had provided janitorial services for Walmart, Toys R Us and E.F. Thompson Inc. before retiring. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site).
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Hunter Dandridge II.
Survivors include sister Betty Williams of Spotsylvania County; sister-in-law Shirley Dandridge of Caroline County; special niece and nephew Allison and David Covington of Spotsylvania; and a host of nephews and nieces, great-nephews and -nieces, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, followed by a service at 11 a.m., with Worship Leader Pastor Anthony Parrish officiating. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
