Donald N. Crummett, 69, of Bealeton died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Washington, D.C., on July 30, 1943, a son of Frank Bernard Crummett Sr. and Ethel Miller Crummett, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Crummett, a painter, was well-known in the area. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Warrenton and an avid Redskins fan.
His wife of 44 years, Margie M. Crummett, preceded him in death on Oct. 21, 2009.
Surviving are a son, Donald 'Ray' Crummett and his wife, Melanie, of Fredericksburg; and a stepdaughter, Connie Drone of Bealeton. He also leaves five brothers and a sister, Frank B. Crummett Jr., Charlie Crummett, Paul Crummett, Bill Crummett, Jimmy Crummett and Mary Sue Crummett.
He was the proud grandfather of nine, Danny Lee, Michael, Donna, Denise, Ashleigh, Paige, Debra, Diana and Ethan; and beloved great-grandfather of Cooper and Chase.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Trinity Baptist Church, Warrenton, with Dr. Vinton Williams officiating.
Interment will be in Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
