Edward Marr Snyder, 42, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at home in Parker, S.D., surrounded by his family, after a hard-fought battle with cholangiocarcinoma.
"Marr" was born April 3, 1970, in Richmond to Edward C. and Anne Gulledge Snyder. He grew up in Stafford County and graduated from North Stafford High School in 1988.
Grateful for having shared Marr's life are his wife, Jenny, and son Parker; his parents, Edward C. and Anne Snyder of Heathsville; a brother, Walter Charles (Kim) of King George County; a sister, Tina Snyder Breede (David) of Odessa, Fla.; his grandmother, Emogene Dayton of Colonial Heights; his mother- and father-in-law, Rod and Sallie Mellquist of Erie, Pa.; nine nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and great-nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service was held in South Dakota.
