Margaret Della Burke, 85, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.
She was born on her family's farm in Frederick, Md., on Jan. 10, 1927.
Margaret graduated from Frederick High School. She had a long career as a bookkeeper and, after retirement, was an antiques dealer. Her hobbies included working with stained glass and antiques collecting, especially glass. She enjoyed and was active in her church.
She was preceded in heaven by her parents, three sisters and brother.
She is survived by her son, Michael and his wife, Suzie; four grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, David, Sean, Nicholas and his wife, Nilofar, and Megan and her husband, Timothy; and four great-grandchildren, Lance, Katlyn, Jazzalyn and Abigail.
Margaret's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 6170 Plank Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Margaret's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to her memorial fund at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 6170 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, Va. 22407.
