Take a lesson, Uncle Sam, from Connecticut

There are many things the federal government can learn from the tragedy in Connecticut. The first is how to keep the public and the press informed.

Look at the way Lt. J. Paul Vance, the spokesman for the Connecticut State Police, provides information to the public and press. He sets ground rules for what he can and will provide. He is brief, concise, and factual.

If he can do this, in these extremely emotional circumstances, why couldn't the federal government be just as forthcoming and professional in the attack on our consulate in Benghazi?
