Brad Lee King, 55, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Brad was formerly of Alexandria and attended Groveton High School. He was known as a kind and gentle person and cared for people deeply.

He is survived by a son, Lorne R.M. King, of the home; a sister, Lori Frye, and her husband, J.R.; and a niece, Leah Frye, all of King George County; and a nephew, Floyd Frye III and his wife, Angela, of Ohio.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty King; and three brothers, David King, Robert King Jr. and Michael King.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at White Oak Ministries, 299 White Oak Road, Fredericksburg.
