James Addison Bullock, Sr., 64, of Fredericksburg died on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Suffolk, Mr. Bullock graduated college from Norfolk State University and taught technology education for more than 40 years in Fairfax, Prince William and Stafford counties. Most recently, Mr. Bullock taught at Shirley C. Heim Middle School in Stafford.
Mr. Bullock is a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Triangle and served on the senior usher ministry. His wife, Mary, currently works there. An avid Redskins fan who had a sweet disposition and a good sense of humor, Mr. Bullock was much loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Bullock is survived by his wife, Mary Bullock; two sons, James Bullock Jr. (Stacy), and Joel Bullock (Jennifer); two grandchildren, Avery and Colbie Bullock; three brothers, Harvey (Fannie), Kenneth (Grace) and Steven; and four sisters, Mabel (Still), Betty Bynum (Steve), Gwen Davis (Eugene) and Christine Mack (Jimmy).
A service will be held at noon, Friday, Dec. 28, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 18410 Chapel Drive, Triangle, Va. 22172, with the Rev. Dr. Alfred Jones Jr. presiding. The viewing will be one hour prior.
Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
