FAITH COMMUNITY NOTES

"Friends and Family Day" will be held Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. This event will be held the first Sunday of each month. Pastor Clinkscales will deliver the message and a special reception will be held with pastor and first lady in the fellowship hall, directly after morning worship.
KING GEORGESt. Stephens Baptist Church, 9142 Comorn Road, will host a Watch Night service on Dec. 31 at 10 p.m., with the Rev. Harry Wallace of People's Union Baptist Church of King George, accompanied by his choir and congregation.
WESTMORELAND COUNTYFirst Baptist Church, 619 Jackson St. in Colonial Beach will hold a Happy Hour worship service on Dec. 30 at 8 p.m., with preaching by church youth minister Roy Starkey, music by the Young Sisters in Christ and the Rev. Delvin Williams, minister of music.
