Retired Army Col. Douglas H. Rabren, 58, of Stafford County went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012.
He was born March 12, 1954, in Mobile, Ala., a son of the late Willie Simon and Lila Grey Rabren. He was a retired colonel from the U.S. Army and had been recently employed at ASM Research in Fairfax. He was an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Stafford.
His surviving family includes his wife, Deborah; elder son Brandon and his wife, Cathy, and grandchildren Jackson Douglas and MacKenna Susan; younger son Zachary and his wife, Amy; and brother Bill and his wife, Frances.

A final viewing will be held Thursday, Jan. 10, at Foreman Brown Funeral Home, Andalusia, Ala. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church of Stafford; American Cancer Society; Habitat for Humanity; or ACTS of Prince William County.
