Evelyn Grinnan Barber, 91, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Barber was a member of Hartwood Presbyterian Church. She had retired from the FMC plant after 28 years of service.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon E. Barber; two stepsons, Charles Barber and wife Debra and Randall Barber and wife Betty; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ada Grinnan; and brother Clifford Grinnan.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
