Edith Henderson Sutton, 92, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Sutton was an active member of Fletcher's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women's group, and enjoyed traveling. She had retired from NSWC Dahlgren after 34 years as an accountant. Ms. Sutton was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Ralph E. Sutton and wife Bonni of King George County; daughter Barbara S. Franklin of Raleigh, N.C.; four grandchildren, Kimberlee Hawkins and husband Mike, Cameron Blake Sutton and wife Heather, Michael Murray and wife Robbie and Russell Murray and wife Traci; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at noon Thursday, Jan 10, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
