Mary Frances Dillard, 78, of Locust Grove died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Dillard was the widow of Walter Randolph Dillard Sr. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always put everyone else before herself.
Survivors include her son, Walter R. Dillard Jr. (Melissa) of Spotsylvania County; daughter Betty D. Hedge (James) of Locust Grove; brother William H. Lewis of Stafford County; four grandchildren, Randy Dillard, Amanda Gutridge, Michelle Johnson and Mark Hedge; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
