Spotsylvania County School Board policy allows schools to raise money for student activities through promotional banners and signs in gyms, in stadiums and on fences. A story Tuesday on Sen. Bryce Reeves' legislation to allow ads on school property incorrectly stated Spotsylvania's policy.

Historian Al Conner will present "The Union Army's 'Valley Forge' 1863: 93 Days That Saved America" on Wednesday, Jan. 23, to the Civil War Round Table of Fredericksburg. The date was incorrect in Tuesday's History Calendar in Town & County.

A mayor in Connecticut is proposing naming a school after a teacher killed in last month's elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn. A headline yesterday was incorrect.
