Charlotte Wallingsford, 60, of Colonial Beach passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at her home.

Charlotte served in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years. She was caregiver for the elderly. She bravely fought cancer for the past 6 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela Campbell and Jackie McKeever, both of Colonial Beach; two sisters, Carol Gardner of Colonial Beach and Catherine Shepherd of Harwood, Md.; two brothers, Howard Gorinson of Silver Spring, Md., and Charles Towers of Forestville, Md.; and two grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Nash and Slaw Funeral Home, Colonial Beach. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
