Cordelia W. Smoot of Locust Grove, formerly of Falls Church, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

She was the widow of the late Charles W. Smoot; mother of Charles Smoot (Edith), Patricia Gleason (Paul), Sandra S. Spear, Deborah Jackson (Rocky) and the late Pete Spear; grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 18; and great-great-grandmother of two.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Murphy Falls Church Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Falls Church.
