Atwo-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon on Piedmont Drive in the Chancellor area of Spotsylvania County left the two drivers injured. They were sent to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. According to Capt. Jeffery Pearce of the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office, a small child was in one of the cars, but was uninjured. No charges have been filed, Pearce said, because the crash is still under investigation. Both automobiles were heavily damaged in the head-on collision.
