Church of Messiah, Episcopal, 12201 Spotswood Furnace Road, will hold the final day on Jan. 13 for the collection of canned goods in support of Boy Scout Troop 77's Zach Rudden, as he completes his food drive to assist the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank as his Eagle Scout project. New Life Ministries, State Route 205, Colonial Beach, will offer Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University on Monday nights at 7 p.m. beginning Jan. 14. This nine week class will teach how to eliminate debt and achieve financial goals.
