Date published: 1/15/2013 Congress gets a raise In case anyone missed this news tidbit, Obama used an executive order to give our federal representatives a $900 raise for 2013. Doesn't sound like much, but this is just a small sample of how little regard for the American taxpayer's money this administration has. Our taxes will be rising, yet the folks spending our hard-earned tax dollars will be getting more for themselves. I urge everyone to write his representative and tell him to refuse the increase in salary as a matter of principle. Cynthia Rose Stafford
