Thomas Milton Johnson, 57, of Colonial Beach passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital after a prolonged illness.
Tommy was owner of Johnson Electric in Colonial Beach for six years, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 4315 of Colonial Beach.
He was predeceased by his father, Edgar Thomas Johnson. His survivors include his partner-in-life, Shelia, and a son, Wayne, both of Colonial Beach; mother Nettie Falwell and stepfather Dan Falwell of Blackstone; sister Linda Bristow (Wayne) of West Point; brother Jimmy Falwell (Melissa) of Blackstone; three nephews; one niece; and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Lakeview Cemetery in Blackstone.
In lieu of flowers, a school scholarship fund for Wayne Johnson has been established at Wells Fargo Bank, 325 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, Va. 22401. Checks should be made payable to Shelia Massey with the memo "in memory of Thomas M. Johnson."
